MSA Trust

We all enjoy going to see family, friends and having holidays, so don’t let MSA stop you getting out and about and travelling if that is what you enjoy and wish to do. The key to undertaking any journey is planning.

You know the specific issues for you, that may make you anxious about going on a journey – but there are often solutions to these, talk to your MSA Nurse Specialist or Occupational Therapist about these.

Most public transport operators are very helpful if you are honest with them about your needs and will do their best to assist you and make your journey comfortable.

Do read our factsheet below about travelling, getting insurance and things to think about if you are going abroad.
