Multiple System Atrophy Research Symposium

25th April 2025 @ 9:00 am 5:00 pm

Mark your calendars for April 25th, 2025, as we invite you to our eagerly awaited third Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Research Symposium!

Building on the success of last year’s symposium, which saw over 170 attendees, our sessions focused on identifying the prodromal stage of MSA, advancing early diagnosis, exploring biomarkers, and discussing innovative interventions. We presented the latest insights into MSA drug trials, highlighting promising developments as we strengthen our understanding and approach toward combating MSA.

We’re pleased to announce that the 2025 symposium will be held at a new venue—the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health—allowing for a bigger and better event. Our speakers include Dr. Horacio Kaufmann, Professor of Neurology at NYU Langone Health; Professor Tom Foltynie, Professor of Neurology; and Andrew Singleton, Director of the National Institutes of Health (US).

The agenda will be circulated closer to the date, but please book your tickets early to take advantage of the early-bird discount (available until the 31st December).

Whether you are an established professional or an early career researcher, this symposium offers a unique platform to exchange knowledge and provide ample opportunities for networking where ideas can be shared, and potential research collaborations can be explored. Doctors looking to enhance their expertise in diagnosing and managing Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) are warmly invited to participate. The sessions will delve into diverse aspects of MSA diagnosis and management in this year’s symposium, with a focus on the prodromal stage. Specialists in neurology, urology, autonomic, respiratory, and sleep medicine, engaged in MSA patient care, are encouraged to join.

Please note: This event is for, Researchers, Academics and Health and Care Professionals only. If you are living with MSA, or are supporting a loved one with the condition, and have questions about the programme, please get in touch and we will direct you to suitable resources.

Refreshments and complimentary hot lunch provided.
