MSA Trust

Moving about

Everybody who has a diagnosis of MSA faces the frustration of limited mobility, but despite this you will want to keep as independent as possible. This is really important to do.

However, you must do this as safely as possible – there are lots of mobility aids and equipment that can help with this, so do look at all the options and get advice from the physiotherapist and occupational therapist as to which equipment is right for you.

We have a fact sheet called ‘Equipment – Posture and Mobility’ which you may find useful. This can be downloaded below.

We regret to announce the MSA Trust will be suspending all of our Support Groups and our memorial event due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus Covid-19. For our full statement, please click here. Our other services and support will continue to be unaffected and available to everybody affected by MSA. For any questions please contact us at support@msatrust.org.uk.
