How do I explain MSA?

Please find below a basic explanation of MSA that you can give to people that may ask what it is. Please do contact us if you would like to be sent some leaflets to give out to people that want to know more about MSA.

‘MSA is a movement disorder which causes difficulties with balance and movement. There are also problems with autonomic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control. MSA is caused by changes in the brain but we do not yet know what causes these changes.’
