Match Funding

Match funding is one of the most effective ways of making your fundraising go the extra mile!

What Is Match Funding?
Corporate match funding – or matched giving as it is sometimes known – gives employees the chance to boost their fundraising power by having the funds they raise matched by their employer. Some organisations might offer this as a literal pound-for-pound match, while others might have a specific amount that they would like to donate.

What Sort of Fundraising Do Companies Match Fund?
Every organisation is different, so some companies will offer things that others don’t and vice versa – but usually a business with a Match Funding Scheme might match donations that you’ve raised by taking on a challenge like a marathon or a skydive; hosting an event or benefit evening; or perhaps even Payroll Giving!

Why Do Companies Offer Match Funding?
Supporting a charity that is close to the hearts of employees is a fantastic way for organisations to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility, but it can also boost morale as it brings a team together – uniting them in an important goal that is making a tangible difference to their community.

I’m Not Sure My Company Offers Match Funding. What Should I Do?
The best way to find out if your company offers Match Funding is to ask your HR Department.

My Employer Doesn’t Offer Match Funding at the Moment. Can I Contact You to Find Out More?
