Make a Regular Donation

A regular monthly gift is a cost effective way for the Trust to raise funds, as it keeps our administration costs to a minimum and enable us to plan ahead confident in fact that you have committed to making a donation in the future. This commitment will ensure that more of your donation can go towards the cost of supporting people affected by MSA.

A small regular gift is an easy way to make a larger annual contribution to the Trust, ensuring that Trust continue its vital support to thousands of people affected by MSA in the UK and Ireland.

  • £10 each month could provide two families, who are coming to terms with an MSA diagnosis, with a vital support pack offering much needed information.
  • £20 each month could give someone the emotional support they need, over the phone, from one of our MSA Nurse Specialists.
  • £500 each year could pay for a series of counselling sessions, enabling people whose lives have been shattered by MSA to cope with their diagnosis.

You have access to your statement of giving, and can decide how long you wish to support us. You have complete freedom when it comes to choosing the frequency, whereby you can choose monthly, quarterly or annually. Simply click on ‘Make this donation every’ and choose a frequency.

I understand that Multiple System Atrophy Trust will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Multiple System Atrophy Trust receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

Donation Total: £10 Monthly

To set up a Standing Order please download and complete the regular giving form below and return to the Trust. This mandate will then be sent to your bank, and an amount gets transferred at a frequency of your choice (monthly or annually).

Payroll giving or workplace giving, is one of the best ways to give to the Trust – donations are deducted before tax so we receive more money at no extra cost to you.
