Instructions for Joining our Digital Support Groups

We use Zoom teleconferencing technology to run our online Digital Support Groups. Zoom can be used on computers, tablets or smart phones. If you would prefer, or are having problems with your technology you can dial in using a landline or mobile phone.

If you RSVP to a meeting you will be given a meeting ID and passcode unique specifically for that Digital Support Group before the morning on the meeting. For privacy reasons we issue a new meeting link for each new meeting so please do remember to respond to each one you are interested in attending.

If you have any questions about technology please contact the office and we will do out best to help.

Before you join the video meeting –

  • You will need speakers on your computer or device to hear the meeting.
  • If you wish to speak you will also need a microphone (most laptops, ipads etc have built in ones). If you do not have a microphone you will still be able to hear but will not be able to talk, however you can type questions if you have any.
  • Feel free to turn your camera on or off (if you have one) but please note we may have to turn them off if there are technical issues.
  • If you have a data limit on your mobile device, make sure to use your home internet.
  • If you have any specific questions in advance please let me know so we can do our best to answer them.
