Thank you for fundraising for the MSA Trust. Your support helps people living with multiple system atrophy (MSA) and funds vital research.
This guide will help you fundraise safely, follow best practices, and make the most of your efforts.
Keeping Yourself Safe
Your wellbeing is important.

Only do fundraising activities you are comfortable with.

Let someone know if you are doing a public event or challenge.

Wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment.
 -  
Never put yourself or others in danger.
 
If something doesn’t feel right, stop and seek advice.
Using the MSA Trust “In Aid” Logo
If you want to use our logo on your posters, flyers, or online pages, please only use “in aid of MSA Trust”:

Don’t change or edit the logo.
 
Being Clear About Your Costs
If you plan to use any of the money you raise to cover costs for your challenge or event, please be clear with your supporters.

Let donors know what percentage or amount will be used for expenses.

Only use funds in ways that are safe, reasonable, and approved.
 
Safeguarding and Complaints
We take safeguarding seriously.

If you see anything unsafe or concerning, or if someone makes you feel uncomfortable, contact us immediately.

When fundraising for the MSA Trust, please:

Keep any personal information safe and confidential.
 
Handling Money and Donations
Your donations are very important. Please follow these simple steps:

Keep money safe – do not leave cash unattended.

Count donations carefully and keep a record.
 -  
Bank donations as soon as you can. Do not use them for personal expenses except where clearly stated and communicated.
 
Online donations: Always use our official fundraising pages when collecting online.
