Dr Louise Wiblin is a Consultant Neurologist appointed in 2019 at James Cook University Hospital in the North East of England. She trained in both London and the North East and completed her MD in 2017, which focused on the impact of palliative care and ways to improve quality of life and symptom management for people living with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
Dr Wiblin works in specialist MSA clinics, alongside dedicated palliative care and advance care planning clinics for people with neurological conditions. Her clinical and research interests centre on neurological palliative care, with a particular focus on improving care, planning, and quality of life for people affected by complex neurodegenerative diseases.
