Donate Your Goods
A wonderful way to support us is by donating your handmade crafts, goods, or merchandise, which we can sell through our online shop. In the past, our generous community has contributed knitted blankets, MSAT branded wristbands, notebooks, and diaries.
Please note that we may not always be able to sell every handmade item, but we’d love to hear from you. Reach out to a member of our fundraising team, and we can discuss your donation in more detail.
Donate as you Shop
Give as you Live
We’ve proudly partnered with Give as you Live to provide alternative ways to give to help support the MSA Trust and our work.
Give as you Live is the free and easy way to raise money when you do your online and instore shopping at 6,000+ popular retailers, including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Booking.com and many more.
It’s completely free and we receive every penny you raise.
You can also use Give as you Live’s website to collect donations from fundraising challenges, community events and much more. Simply join for free and start shopping to make a difference.
eBay
If you’re selling unwanted items on eBay, you can choose to donate a percentage of your profits to MSA Trust. Simply select the ‘advanced sell’ option when uploading your products and choose Multiple System Atrophy Trust as the charity to receive between 10% and 100% of your proceeds.
Alison and Stephen’s Story:
Our MSA Trust 2026 diaries were lovingly designed and donated by Alison and Stephen. Stephen reflects on the challenges of Alison’s diagnosis with multiple system atrophy:
“You don’t cope with the diagnosis, but with the support of family, friends, and carers, you learn to live a little”.
Despite the emotional toll, Stephen and Alison have found a brilliant way to support the MSA Trust and raise awareness of the condition. Drawing on Stephen’s professional background in print production, they generously offered to produce 2026 pocket diaries for the Trust.
“Rather than donate money, this offers a chance to promote MSA,” he explains. “The more people that know about MSA, the better.”
Donating Your Second Hand Equipment
Our second-hand equipment page is a place for our MSA community to advertise equipment they would like to sell. We provide this service free of charge, but we also welcome any donations. Please note that we cannot store your items and The Trust bears no responsibilities for any transactions made as a result of this website page. Visit the page for more information.
Helen’s Story:
”The work of the MSA Trust is very close to my heart. My dad was diagnosed with MSA and died in 2022. Throughout his illness the MSA charity was an incredible source of support for both my dad and our family. Donating these wristbands felt like a small way to help and assist the Trust in raising funds to continue the amazing work they do – and an opportunity to support a charity that means so much to me and my family.’’
Helen donated MSAT branded wristbands that we were able to sell on our online shop.
Donate In Lieu Of Gifts
Marking a special occasion — a birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement, or any milestone — is another meaningful way to support the MSA Trust.
You can make a donation in lieu of gifts, or invite others to do the same. Other simple ways to give include:
- Set up a Facebook Fundraiser
- Create a JustGiving page to share your story and invite donations as part of your celebration.
- Ask for donations instead of presents
- Include MSA Trust wedding favours
- Host a celebration event
- Set yourself a personal challenge and inviting others to sponsor you
No matter how you choose to celebrate, your support helps us continue providing vital services for people affected by MSA.
