Dr. Eduardo de Pablo-Fernández is a Senior Research Clinical Fellow at the Centre for Preventive Neurology QMUL and UCL Queen Square Brain Bank.
Dr. de Pablo-Fernández also works as a Consultant Neurologist at Darent Valley Hospital where he leads the movement disorders service (including a specialist multidisciplinary clinic for people with Multiple System atrophy and other atypical parkinsonisms) and as an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
His research explores the pathogenic mechanisms underlying clinical heterogeneity and disease progression in people with Parkinson’s disease and Multiple System Atrophy.
He has published extensively evaluating clinico-pathological aspects of multiple system atrophy including the pathological validation of the Movement Disorders Society clinical diagnostic criteria.
