Dr Eduardo de Pablo‑Fernández is a Senior Research Clinical Fellow at the Centre for Preventive Neurology, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and the UCL Queen Square Brain Bank.
He also works as a Consultant Neurologist at Darent Valley Hospital, where he leads the movement disorders service, including a specialist multidisciplinary clinic for people living with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and other atypical parkinsonian conditions. In addition, he serves as an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Dr de Pablo‑Fernández’s research focuses on understanding the pathogenic mechanisms underlying disease progression and clinical variation in Parkinson’s disease and MSA. He has published extensively on the clinicopathological features of MSA, including work on the pathological validation of the Movement Disorder Society clinical diagnostic criteria.
