Through our Research Grant Programme, we support innovative, high-quality research that advances understanding of MSA, improves diagnosis and care, and accelerates the development of effective treatments and ultimately a cure.
Since launching our Research Grant Programme, we have invested in innovative projects led by researchers across the UK and internationally, helping to advance knowledge of MSA and develop new approaches to treatment and care.
Our regular grant calls provide funding opportunities for researchers working across a range of disciplines, including laboratory science, translational research, clinical studies and healthcare improvement. By investing in talented researchers and promising projects, we aim to drive progress that will make a meaningful difference to everyone affected by MSA. We are open to working collaboratively at home and abroad, where there is a demonstrable connection to a UK-based Principal Investigator / Institution.
Funding applications up to the value of £150,000 will be considered. Applications can be for single or multiple years’ projects.All pre-proposals will be reviewed by our Scientific Advisory Panel, chaired by Dr. Christopher Kobylecki, Salford Royal Hospital.
