For MSA Researchers

The MSA Trust is dedicated to advancing research in Multiple System Atrophy.

Our goal is to support and collaborate with researchers who are committed to understanding and finding treatments and ultimately a cure for this complex and challenging disease. To date we have invested almost £5 million in MSA-related research. If you are a current or potential MSA researcher, you can find information here about our funding schemes, open funding calls, as well as other tools and resources and support to assist you in your research.

We are also committed to ensuring that research is relevant, meaningful, and impactful for the MSA community, helping to address priorities that matter most to people living with MSA and their families.

Researchers seeking support from the MSA Trust for patient and public involvement, engagement or study promotion should review the guidance below before submitting a request. It sets out our criteria, expectations and the practical information needed to support you fairly and consistently.
