There can be many symptoms people with MSA describe. Each person will have their own set of symptoms. This is one of the reasons why it can take time and be difficult to get a diagnosis.
A protein in the brain called alphasynuclein becomes faulty and causes the MSA damage in three main areas of the brain – this results in the range of symptoms someone with MSA may have.
