Sarah’s Wood is a 10-15 minute walk from the Thoresby Park Visitors Centre and main carpark. Please note there are no toilets within the woods.
The Thoresby Park Visitors Centre features a courtyard with toilets, a café, and shops.
Please note that a locked gate now separates Sarah’s Wood from the Thoresby Park Visitor Centre. If you would like to arrange a visit or need vehicle access to the woods, please contact:

When you arrive, please check in at the Thoresby Park Visitor Centre, where you can collect the code for the gate.
If you are visiting Sarah’s Wood, and not attending an MSAT event, please check in at the Thoresby Park Visitor Centre, where you can collect the code for the gate.
If you are attending an MSAT event, the closet carpark to Sarah’s Wood, is outside the Perlethorpe Village Hall:
Note that Thoresby Estate, being a working farm/private estate, may have heavy machinery operating on the roads, so exercise caution.
