Online Collection
You can create a funeral notice online with a location, date and time for the funeral service. This can easily be shared with family and friends whilst collecting online donations in memory of your loved one.
This is in partnership with the Much Loved platform and funds raised will be forwarded to the Trust by the platform.
You can personalise the page with stories, music, memories and photos to make it a lasting tribute for your loved one. Pages are free and yours to keep for as long as you wish.
Cash and cheque collection
Please email us with the date of service and how many people are expected to attend and we can send donation envelopes and cash collection boxes ahead of the service.
Raising awareness
As you may be aware, MSA is very rare condition, and many members of the public are not aware of it. We can provide our Orange MSA ribbons for family to wear, and leaflets for you to display at the service and help us raise awareness.
Please email us at fundraising@msatrust.org.uk to request envelopes, cash collection boxes and awareness materials.
After the Service
Please check with the Funeral House as they can usually arrange for the collection to be forwarded to the Trust. We understand organising a funeral can be overwhelming and can liaise with the Funeral Home if this is easier. Please let us know their details if applicable.
A collection can be forwarded through any of the following ways after you have banked any cash donations received (please do not send cash in the post). Please do not forget to forward the donation envelopes as these may have gift aid declarations.
- Make a donation online via our website
- Make a bank transfer for the amount to the Trust’s account, email us for our bank details.
- Write a cheque payable to ‘MSA Trust’ and send it to our London office – MSA Trust, Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London , N1 0QH
