Carol is a Strategic Business Manager in a Birmingham Local Authority School. She totals 23 years in schools, previously a Bursar in an Independent day and Boarding school.
Carol first became aware of the Sarah Matheson Trust (as it was then named) back in 2007 when she began to research what her Father could be suffering from. Shortly after this he received an MSA diagnosis and she and her Mother sought support from the Trust’s nurse and support group in Nottingham. Sadly her father passed away in 2009 but Carol and her family have continued to fundraise and follow the Trust and she feels it is a privilege to be able to give something back by being appointed as a Trustee in September 2023.
