MSA Trust Support Group Guidance
MSA Trust Support Group Guidance
We hope our groups will be a welcoming, informative and safe space for anyone affected by MSA. Please find below some guidance we ask all attendees to follow to keep the meetings running safely and smoothly.
-
-
We ask all attendees to treat every member of the group with respect, and to not talk over each other or the facilitator.
-
We ask everyone to respect the privacy of other members and not to share personal information outside of the meeting.
-
Attendees will be at different stages of their MSA Journey. Please be sensitive to the needs of other members.
-
Our MSA Carers Support Groups are open to people providing direct caring responsibilities to their loved one.
-
You are welcome to exchange personal information with other group members if you feel comfortable doing so. Please be aware the MSA Trust is unable to monitor any communication outside of meetings.
-
We suggest you do not make any medical changes on the guidance of other group members without seeking independent medical advice from your healthcare team first.
-
Our MSA Health Care Specialists do not attend every in-person or digital Support Group.
