Terms and Conditions

Participation

Participation in the MSA Trust Christmas Raffle costs £5 per raffle ticket; or £20 for a strip of five (5) tickets.

– There are no restrictions to the number of entries one person can make.

– Payment for participation in the raffle can be made via cheque payable to the MSA Trust or by debit card via telephone or our website.

– The MSA Trust cannot accept CAF payments for raffle tickets.

– Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when whole payment is received.

– The MSA Trust Christmas Raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands).

– Tickets are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any tickets bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw and the money returned to them.

– Employees of the MSA Trust; members of their families; and members of their households are ineligible to enter this raffle. Any tickets bought in the name of an MSA Trust employee; their family members; or members of their households will be rejected from the draw and considered as donations to the MSA Trust.

– The MSA Trust accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payment lost, delayed, or damaged in the post and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The MSA Trust accepts no responsibility if chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.

– The MSA Trust reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.

– Any raffle ticket monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to the MSA Trust and the tickets will not be entered into the draw.

– The MSA Trust cannot claim Gift Aid on raffle ticket monies, but Gift Aid can be claimed on donations.

– Entrants do not need to have made an additional donation to be entered in to the MSA Trust Christmas Raffle.

– The MSA Trust reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion should it become necessary to do so.

Please note that first prize (a weekend getaway in a luxury lodge at the Sherwood Hideaway at Thoresby Park) will be subject to availability.

Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives are offered. The MSA Trust reserves the right to replace a prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the MSA Trust’s control makes it necessary to do so.

MSA Trust does not accept any liability or claims for prizes which are lost, delayed or damaged in the post or otherwise not validly received by you.

No responsibility can be accepted by the MSA Trust for the quality and/or suitability of any prizes provided by third parties.

The MSA Trust and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

The Draw

– The closing date of the MSA Trust Christmas Raffle is 7th January 2022. The first prize-winner will be the first entry randomly selected in an independently supervised draw on Tuesday 11th January 2022.

– The first ticket drawn will win the first prize, the second ticket drawn will win the second prize, and this will continue until all the prizes have been won.

– Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than three (3) weeks after the draw date.

– Winning ticket numbers will be published on our website at www.msatrust.org.uk/get-involved/support-us-this-christmas/raffle within seven (7) days of the draw taking place.

– Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase.

– Participants are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided.

– Where the MSA Trust is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six (6) months following the MSA Trust’s first attempt to notify the prize-winner, the MSA Trust may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in a future raffle.

– The result of the MSA Trust Christmas Raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Governing Law

– All prize draws and competitions held by the MSA Trust will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
