Klondyke & Strikes Garden Centres The Klondyke Group Ltd is family-owned and founded by Dumfries & Galloway resident Bob Gault. Klondyke now operates 22 garden centres throughout Scotland, Northern England and Wales. Find out more here.

Staff at the chain chose the charity after their Chairman, Bob Gault, passed away from MSA. The partnership has been running for 3 years and have included proceeds from carrier bag sales at their garden centres, an annual Christmas display in aid of MSAT (read the press release) and most recently in 2019 the Klondyke Team took on the three peaks challenge for MSA Trust.

The company has chosen MSA Trust as their Charity of the Year as their medical director, Dr Dev Patel’s father, Dr Ramesh Patel sadly passed away from MSA in 2016. Click here to read more about Dr Patel’s connection to MSA and the Trust.

As part of the corporate support, their recent customer engagement event in 2019 raised more than £2,000 for MSA Trust.

Papa Johns pizza chain raised an incredible £18,622 after employee Sarah Bridges nominated the Trust for Charity of the Quarter support, following her sister’s MSA diagnosis.

Most of the fundraising came from the Pennies scheme whereby Papa Johns customers were able to donate their loose change to the Trust when ordering online or in store. Customers were not only generous with their contributions, they also learnt about multiple system atrophy when donating to the Trust.
