During 2017 we will be marking a special anniversary for the Trust, 20 years of support and research.
Hugh Matheson, our founder Sarah Matheson’s brother, wanted a way to symbolise the hope and support the MSA community can create for each other. He will therefore be helping us to create Sarah’s Wood which will be launching on Tuesday 13th June 2017. The Wood will be located in Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire, in the heart of Sherwood Forest and will become a lasting symbol of hope for all people affected by MSA.
On this date we are inviting you for afternoon tea, a chance to meet our staff and trustees, hear updates on our research and plans for the next year, and to plant the very first acorns/ saplings for the Wood. You will then get a chance to drive to where the Wood will be located and receive a certificate to show you have planted an oak tree. Although June is not the best time of the year to plant a wood we will ensure the acorns and saplings are looked after until the ideal planting conditions in winter. If you would like more information please contact us at email@example.com or call 0333 323 4591.
Don’t worry if you aren’t able to make this Sarah’s Wood launch event. You can either ask us to plant a tree on your behalf (see option below) or attend one of the acorn planting days which will be held in the winter. More information about these dates will be posted on this page following the launch event.I'd like to attend the Sarah's Wood launch event I would like a tree planted on my behalf
